In 2018 as part of our open farm event we are were honoured to host lunch by Cass Titcombe, founder and head chef of award-winning Brassica Restaurant in Beaminster. Cass has used produce in the restaurant from Lower Hewood Farm since 2014. The event opened with Southern Roots Organic tour of vegetable CSA. The events on the day included a tour of land and livestock with Will Wilding and Alexa de Ferranti.

5 June 2016
Farm tour and scything event alongside the On Landscape #3 exhibition. On Landscape #3 was the third in a series of projects by Minna Kantonen, Dafna Talmor and Emma Wieslander exploring representations of landscape. The exhibition also featured renowned artist James Ravilious’ photographs. This event was programmed to coincide with Dorset Art Weeks. For more information about the On Landscape Project, visit the project page.

7 June 2015
Guided farm and garden tours with sheep shearing and a thatching demonstration. Visitors are invited to meet the sows with litters of piglets and share drinks and a barbecue on the patio. A small exhibition in the converted barn, Menagerie, displays artworks featuring animals.
