Lower Hewood Farm Residency
Applications are now open for 2016-17.
The residency programme is open to artists and researchers at any stage in their career. Visual artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers and other creative practitioners are welcome to apply. We would also like to hear from researchers in the fields of agriculture, ecology and other sciences related to environment, food and farming.
Every year, up to three residents will be invited to engage in a project based at Lower Hewood Farm, over a period of up to a year. A studio space, board and lodging, and a fee and production budget are available. The duration, outcomes and support structure will be arranged in relation to each individual.
To apply please email a letter of intent, a biography with CV, and material related to your practice, such as images or web links to your work.

It’s ideal for those who have a specific work agenda and can fulfil their own needs in terms of equipment or materials. Accommodation and studio spaces are available throughout the year.
Price: £150 (per person) per week (6 nights) for room, studio space and cooking facilities.
For groups, the cost can be negotiated.
To apply please email a brief outline of the work you intend to undertake, along with a short biography.
